Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija headed the tenth session of the Fiscal Council of BiH today via video link.
The Council unanimously rejected the request of the International Monetary Fund to hold a meeting, in connection with the letter sent to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers on November 2 this year by the Head of the IMF Mission in BiH Alina Ijancu.
The Fiscal Council considered the Proposal of the Global Framework of Fiscal Balance and Policies in BiH for the period from 2022 to 2024, which envisages an increase in the allocation of revenues from indirect taxes in favor of the BiH institutions, and concluded that they do not vote on it until additional consultations were held and a unified position of the Fiscal Council was established.
The session of the Fiscal Council was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda, Prime Minister of the RS Radovan Višković, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, Ministers of Finance of the RS and the FBiH Zora Vidović and Jelka Milićević, Mayor of Brčko District Esed Kadrić and Governor of the Central Bank of BiH Senad Softić, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
