Construction of the subsection Vlakovo-Lepenica, worth 350 million BAM, will start next week, after the contractor, Turkish company ”Cengiz İnsaat” has entered the construction site.
Two neighbouring subsections Lepenica-Suhodol and Suhodol-Tarčin are already being constructed.
Total value of these three subsections, which constitute a 20 kilometre section of the highway, is 730 million BAM, which makes this project the most expensive project in BiH in the past few decades.
Turkish company won the tender on all three subsections, but BiH companies will do half the job.
