Over Thirty Children Discovered in Brcko, Three Arrested for Suspected Human Trafficking

The Brcko District Police of BiH have found a large number of children, and three people have been arrested on suspicion of human and child trafficking, as well as child abuse.

The children have been taken to safety, and an investigation into the incident is underway, the Brcko District Police stated.

It has been confirmed for Srna news agency that 31 children are involved, and according to unofficial information, they are Roma children.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Brcko District Prosecutor’s Office, and in cooperation with the Sub-Department for Social Protection and the Brcko District Red Cross.

The police remind us of the obligation to act particularly carefully in this case in order to avoid further harmful consequences and protect the interests of the child.
