roditelji_konjevicParents of Bosniak Children from Konjević Polje, who have been staying in tents outside OHR for nearly three months, decided to go back to their homes.

Muhizin Omerović, one of the parents, confirmed this to Anadolija Agency. He added that a decision was brought at a meeting in Nova Kasaba for the parents to leave Sarajevo.

‘’On Friday, we will organize a press conference, where we will announce our decisions and further steps. This does not mean that we will give up the fight. On the contrary, we will continue it’’, said Omerović.

Children of Bosniak parents started school yesterday in Nova Kasaba, near Konjević Polje, where they will take classes until June and prepare for the final exam in order to not fall back one school year.

‘’The teaching staff is from Sarajevo, and so far we have 14 teachers. We are working to organize transportation for all children from their homes to Nova Kasaba. For the first three days, parents will work together to bring children to school’’, said Omerović.
