Paris Scandal: Serena Williams was not allowed to have Lunch at a popular Restaurant

Even though no one officially mentioned the word racism, there is no doubt that it came to mind of many people when Serena Williams announced on social networks what happened to her in an expensive Parisian hotel where she was a guest.

“They didn’t let me have lunch at the top of the hotel, so that I could eat with my children in an empty restaurant. For the first time in my life, this happened”, she revealed, but, of course, it did not end there.

In a recent ESPN poll, the best female athlete of this century complained, so the hotel representatives had to issue a public apology.

Their view of the situation is somewhat different, because they claim that all the tables were reserved. Also, they claim that Serena was offered an alternative restaurant on the second floor, but she was so angry that she refused and immediately left the roof.

The waiter’s explanation was that he didn’t recognize the legendary American because she was wearing a long blonde wig, and it didn’t even occur to her to book a table.

However, that’s not all. Serena will really remember this Olympics for a long time, longer than the ones where she won gold medals, alone or with Venus. First, she barely escaped falling into the Seine during the Opening Ceremony of the Games. Then, in the TV broadcast, they declared her husband to be the man holding her umbrella, because they did not recognize him.

Namely, the champion of 23 Grand Slams has been cheering on American athletes since the beginning of the Olympics in Paris. She also watched the final duel between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, and many expected her on Thursday night at the semi-final duel between Serbian and American basketball players. She is great friends with LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
