Payment of Pensions Begins Today in the Federation of BiH

The payment of pensions for the month of September in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will begin today, October 3. The regular payment date has been postponed because October 5, when the payment is normally made, falls on a Sunday this year, the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance (FZ MIO/PIO) stated.

The lowest pension for September is 599.28 BAM, guaranteed 715.21 BAM, while the highest pension is 2,996.40 BAM. The average pension of independent pension beneficiaries amounts to 760.03 BAM.

The average pension of independent pension beneficiaries, of whom 373,336 are being paid for September, amounts to 760.98 BAM. A total of 461,857 beneficiaries will receive their pension for September, and the funds required for payment amount to about 314.5 million BAM.
