Instead of making an effort to help citizens who are faced with huge inflation, people from the government only worry about how to sabotage the introduction of scanners in the elections this fall, said SDS president Branko Blanuša, during a conversation with the citizens of Banja Luka’s Borik settlement.
He said that the opposition will ask for the postponement of the elections until new electoral technologies are introduced and that they will not allow the elections to be stolen, as has happened many times before.
Answering the citizens’ question about the candidacy for the president of Republika Srpska, Blanuš pointed out that he will respect the conclusions of the SDS authorities, which made the decision that he should be a candidate for that position in the elections.
“During the conversation with the citizens, we heard their view of the current situation in our society and the problems that are bothering them, as well as proposals for solving them. Justified concern about the economic destruction of Republika Srpska and the sale of its resources, and this must be stopped,” Blanuša said categorically.
He says that urgent and concrete measures are needed to alleviate the inflation caused by the rise in fuel prices.
“The government has left the citizens in the lurch, and is trying to use the current situation and inflation in order to collect as high taxes as possible. This is best confirmed by the fact that before the outbreak of the war in Iran, Bosnia and Herzegovina had the lowest fuel prices in the region, and now they are the same or higher than the surrounding countries”, said Blanuša, noting that we have such high prices despite the fact that all the surrounding countries have a better standard than us.
