congressResolution on Bosnia and Herzegovina was submitted to the U.S. Congress.

The proposed resolution is calling for preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of B&H, as well as the equality of nations.

Proposal of the resolution on the appointment of the special representative for the Balkans was also submitted to the U.S. Congress. The representative would have the task of evaluation of the implementation of the Dayton Agreement.

It was proposed by the Congresswoman Janice Hahn earlier this month, 20 years after the signing of the document with whom the peace in B&H was established.

The resolution is currently in the initial stage after the proposal was submitted to the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress. If the proposal passes in the House, then it will go for voting in the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
