airline2Sarajevo International Airport will be soon connected with another world destination by the company Qatar Airways.

This is airline Doha – Sarajevo, which will be established most probably next year. This is the result of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of B&H and Qatar, which was sealed with a recent visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Igor Crnadak to this Arab country.

“During my visits and meetings with the Emir and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, it was confirmed that everything is in its final stage and that we can expect the final decision of Qatar Airways to establish a direct airline Doha-Sarajevo very soon,” confirmed Crdanak.

He added that the very essence of establishing this airline is encouragement of business activities, making space for an increase in tourism, and better connections with Australia and New Zealand.

“This airline with Doha will open the way to our people who are traveling to New Zealand and Australia, and who will change the plane only once on their way,” explained Crnadak.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H could not say when the first flight will be performed because, as he claims, the decision is on the leaders of Qatar Airways, which will be carrying out the transportation of passengers.
