In continuing the expansion of its network, Pegasus Airlines introduced a regular Sarajevo-Istanbul line that was established on 28 February.
The President of Pegasus Airlines Ali Sabanci and the Vice-Presidnet Guliz Ozturk said that Pegasus established its presence in the Balkans by adding Sarajevo as the fifth destination in the region.
This airline company flies to 68 destinations in 27 countries, and the flights to Sarajevo is the fifth destination that covers the Balkans, after Bucharest, Pristina, Skopje and Belgrade.
Ali Sabanci said that Pegasus has democratized flights to Turkey, making it the natural rights of all citizens.
He noted that he sees potential and opportunities for Pegasus in the Balkans, the Caucuses and the Middle East, and that they represent a priority. They took 220.000 passengers to the Balkans ever since they introduced their first line for Bucharest in May 2011.
To differentiate themselves from the competition, they offered affordable, regular flights without delay and new airplanes.

With the new lines, Pegasus provides 42 international connections from Sarajevo.
