bombMinister of Interior of the Una-Sana Canton Senad Kljajić confirmed to FENA that a person with initials M.B. (1952), suspected of murdering lawyer Jasmina Koričić from Bihać, was arrested yesterday at the international border crossing Izačić, and was handed over to the Crime Investigation Department of the Cantonal Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“The investigation is ongoing and we shall see how it unfolds,” said Kljajić.

Officers of the Border Police Unit Izačić arrested the suspect at the entrance to BiH, after the border checks have shown that the suspect is a wanted person by the MoI of the Una Sana Canton because of the crime of murder.

He is suspected of having used an explosive device on 13 February and the murder of lawyer Koričić at the entrance to her office in Prekounje.

As FENA unofficially learned, the suspect is Muhamed Budimlić from Cazin.
