A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption is in constant contact and coordination with SIPA, Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH (DCPB) and Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior officers, as well as with a prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office, regarding investigative activities in connection with the notifications on explosive devices placed at the Complex of Judicial Institutions of BiH and the Sarajevo Municipal Court.

The suspect was deprived of freedom for the criminal offences of endangering security and false notifications, and the required investigative activities are being carried out in order to further gather evidence and fully document the criminal offence of terrorism.

The investigation activities will also determine the possible connection of the said suspect with other similar criminal offences committed in the previous period.

The Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH (OSA) provided significant assistance in detecting and locating the suspect.

As part of further investigative activities, when conditions are met, the suspect will be brought to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and interviewed as a suspect in the criminal offence of terrorism.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is also working on assessing the damage caused by notifications, that is, the costs of postponed hearings and disabled operation of the institutions, which will be charged to the suspect, and activities are being carried out to collect data on his movable and immovable assets to compensate for the damage caused.

The investigation into the case is continuing intensively.
