Smiljan Vidic, Mayor of Capljina and Petar Corluka, owner of “Violeta” company and new owner of “Lasta”, former production giant, visited the facilities of this factory of biscuits and waffles.

“Certainly, this is immeasurably important for Capljina and for “Lasta”, and I look forward to the positive conclusion with “Lasta”,” said Vidic.

Corluka, as reported by the Capljina City Administration, confirmed that the process of taking over “Lasta” has been completed and that it plans to invest 20 million BAM to restore and enable production to the standards required by the European Union.

“It is most important for me that Lasta reclaims the brand that it had. The maximum effort and resources will be put into production to get top quality products. The facilities and the condition in which Lasta now does not satisfy the production of food, so the first move is the reconstruction of the facility,” Corluka said.
