The Special Representative of the EU to BiH Peter Sorensen had the honor of opening the international economic fair “Mostar 2013”, confirmed the Spokesperson of the Mostar fair Oliver Cvitković for ‘Sarajevo Times’.

“It is a pleasure to be a part of the Mostar fair, because this event represents something that has not been seen during the sixteen-year marking of the fair’’, said Cvitković.

At the official opening of the fair, in addition to Special Representative Sorensen other participants include: Director of Mostar Fair Deflina Bošnjak, Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda, and the Prime Ministers of Montenegro, Serbia, and Croatia, Milo Đukanović, Ivica Dačić and Zoran Milanović, respectively.

“The four prime ministers addressed the public and sent a message of coexistence, peace and economic cooperation of all people in the region. We are glad that the Mostar fair is recognized as a place of economic and political meetings’’, said Cvitković.

He noted that the opening of the Mostar fair was followed by more than 300 accredited journalists from all over the world.

“All in all, a nice picture of Mostar was sent throughout the world today’’, concluded Cvitković.

The Mostar fair will last until 13 April and will be held in the space of the Free Zone of Herzegovina.

The partner for this year’s fair is the European Union (EU).
