Authorized officers of the Indirect Taxation Administration carried out operational activities in the Prnjavor area, and temporarily seized 2 jeeps and 2 passenger cars, one of which is a rare example of a classic car, namely an Audi Ur Quattro.

The inspected entrepreneur, with whom the disputed goods were found, did not possess documentation of origin, or documentation that would prove that the goods in question had undergone customs procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which reason the goods were temporarily seized.

“The market value of the temporarily seized goods is estimated at approximately 300,000.00 BAM. Appropriate proceedings will be initiated against the perpetrator of the described illegalities before the competent court,” the ITA BiH statement reads.

The Indirect Taxation Administration calls on all citizens to report any form of illegal trade, tax or customs evasion to the ITA hotline number 080 02 06 07. All calls are free of charge and completely anonymous.
