Great Success for BH Economy: Violeta became Market Leader

violetaDomestic company Violeta was convincingly better in sales of diapers in BiH in comparison to the previous world giant Procter & Gamble, and it became the leader on the market.

According to the analysis of Euromonitor, Violeta held 49 % of the market of diapers for children and adults in BiH in the last year, and it was significantly ahead of Procter & Gamble, which held 38 % of the market with its brand Pampers.

In this way, Violeta, which was previously absolute leader when it comes to selling paper for household use, just became a market leader in another major market segment.

Otherwise, we should also emphasize that this is a very profitable segment of the market in which large global corporations such as Procter & Gamble are absolute leaders in the majority of countries in the region and the world.

However, Violeta showed that it is possible to deal even with the biggest world’s giants, and BiH became one of the very few countries in which a domestic company has market dominance in this segment, as reported by BiznisInfo.

This represents a great success, not only for the company from Grude but for the entire BH economy.
