The war in any part of the world has a devastating impact on the children’s lives. Although they have no responsibility for what is happening, even the youngest ones are not spared the trauma caused by the violence that surrounds them.
Even today, despite international legal conventions that aim to protect children who find themselves in the midst of the conflict, many children are faced with the terrible suffering and terror.
Almost 14 million children are currently experiencing the horrors because of the conflict in Iraq and Syria.
