Miralem Pjanic revealed that Edin Dzeko was “very motivated when it comes to the arrival in Roma and he can’t wait to play with us”.
The two BH national team players will play together in the jersey of Roma, after the completion of Dzeko’s transfer from Manchester City.
“Dzeko was very motivated when it comes to the arrival in Roma and he can’t wait to play with us”, said Pjanic for Roma TV.
“Dzeko is happy and he will be of great help to us this season. The competition in the team is a positive thing, because performances in different competitions expect us. If you want to compete at a high level and come closer to Juventus, you need great players”, added the BH national team player.
Roma impressed with a spectacular victory over Valencia with a result of 3:1 in a friendly match on Saturday, with the goals of Francesco Totti, Gervinho and the debutant Mohamed Salah, Football Italia reported.
“We were physically stronger than in previous matches and we wanted to once again find the way of play that we lost during the past six months. We risked and attempted to impose our play, and it went well. Of course we can do better, but I think it was a good match against a powerful opponent. It is a pleasure to take risks and to gamble. We got that feeling back and had fun at the field”, added Pjanic.
