Play ‘Break up’ in Chamber Theatre 55

On Sunday, 17 March at 8 p.m. , as a part of Sarajevo Winter 2013, the audience of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to see the play by Michael Cristofer ‘Break up’ and performed by Planet Art Theatre from Croatia.

Cast of the play Amar Bukvić and Nataša Janjić, director and translator Margo Torjanac.

The play follows Steve and Alice, a young couple, and their love story filled with passion, broken hearts, break ups, loneliness, and universal things for all those in a relationship.

Sometimes, their rendezvous are funny, sometimes sad, but above all they express the honest need for companionship.

The writer of the play Michael Ivan Cristofer is an American playwright, filmmaker and actor. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play for The Shadow Box in 1977.
