The second play that the public of SARTR will have the chance to see as part of this year’s program for the Sarajevska Zima is ‘Majke’ (mothers).
This performance is linked to the story of construction: two women raise their city worlds with small wooden bricks. They observe their buildings, wonder around them, destroy them, reject them and return back to the beginning. They are playing an eternal game with memories, materials and space. The mothers are playing with the limits of their creation.
Iris Karayan created the concept and choreography.
The play ‘Majke’ will take place tomorrow at 20:00.
