Play ‘The Lonesome West’ at Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo

lonesome westOn 28 June, Friday, citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to see the play ‘The Lonesome West’ written by Martin Mcdonagh and directed by Davor Sabo which is his diploma play.

The cast of the play Adnan Goro, Slaven Vidak, Alisa Čajić, Davor Sabo and the mentor is Admir Glamočak.

The play talks about Valene and Coleman, two brothers living alone in their father’s house after his recent death, find it impossible to exist without the most massive and violent disputes over the most mundane and innocent of topics. Only Father Welsh, the local young priest, is prepared to try to reconcile the two before their petty squabblings spiral into vicious and bloody carnage.

‘The Lonesome West’ will be shown at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo at 8 p.m.
