plenumsarajevoAt the Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo, which was held yesterday, the work of the Plenum in other cities was presented, and the results that were achieved in the protests throughout the FB&H were discussed.

In front of over 150 people who gathered, it was said that the citizens succeeded in ‘destroying’ the four cantonal governments, as well as having their demands met in abolishing the right to a salary for officials after their mandate ends, as well as reducing the salaries in a number of cantons.

Among other things, the B&H Director Jasmila Žbanić addressed the protestors, who said that she is proud of the citizens because for a moment, it seemed to her that in B&H protests were not possible.

According to her, citizens have to continue because it is not possible to expect results overnight.

A number of participants in the Plenum presented their ideas and proposals, and working groups of the Plenum are responsible for formulating them by the next gathering.

The next Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo will be held on 4 March.
