plenum_sarajevoRepresentatives of the citizens’ Plenum of Sarajevo will send the demands of citizens today to the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo, and its deadline for implementation is 72 hours.

This was concluded at last night’s Plenum that was held in Dom Mladih in Sarajevo, with around 300 participants.

The Plenum chose 13 people who will have the task of handing over to the Canton Sarajevo Assembly these demands. The working groups of the Plenum presented their reports on their work, presenting issues where a focus was placed.

Representatives of the groups for formulating the demands said that until yesterday, they received 2.000 demands and proposals, and due to their scale, established subgroups to handle everything. The most amounts of proposals and demands were of a political, legal and social nature.

Representatives of the groups for the protests stressed that there are still threats and intimidation towards participants at the protests, whose security is one of the priorities.

They suggested that, in case the Sarajevo Canton Assembly rejects the demands and proposals, they would form a blockade of the city.

The next Plenum is scheduled for Friday at 17:30, and the new protests are announced for today at 12:00.
