At the Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo held in Dom Mladih last night, a demand was adopted for the dismissal of directors and acting directors of all public companies in majority state ownership within 30 days. As part of these demands, they are asking for the dismissal of advisors in all public institutions.
They are demanding the immediate freezing of all privatization processes in Canton Sarajevo indefinitely.
Also, demands of working groups were adopted for veterans’ affairs that demands the amendment to the Law on the rights of demobilized soldiers and their families, for juvenile volunteers to be recognized as a special category of veterans with clearly defined rights and obligations. They feel that this would systematically solve the issues of rehabilitation and resocialization of the veteran population.
The working group for Veterans’ Affairs demands for access to the system audit of the veteran population, and for the register of these members of the veteran population to be publicly published.
At the Plenum, the proposal by Zvonimir Bošnjak for the legal group to make a list for possible mandators was met with applause. He proposed Professor Besim Spahić, Professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo, who he said would ‘’certainly initiate social programs’’.
‘’We are obliged to start like this, but if we do not bring the right decisions, our resolution will collapse. Knowledge does the job’’, said Bošnjak at the Plenum.
The next Plenum will take place on 12 March at 17:30 in Dom Mladih.
