The Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Radovan Višković will be visiting the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, with which the Republika Srpska has signed a cooperation agreement, from today until Wednesday, May 31.
The main goal of the visit is to strengthen economic and cooperation in the field of education, it was announced from the Public Relations Bureau of the Government of the Republika Srpska.
During the visit, Višković will meet with the president of the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulio Massimiliano Fedrida, the president of the government of the region Bodrina Mauro, and the president of the association of editors of Konfindustri Udine and the president of the international company “Daieli” Benedetti Gianpetra.
During his visit to Italy, Višković will participate in a business forum organized by the association of Italian businessmen Konfindustria, which will be held tomorrow in Udine.
The forum will be an opportunity to present to interested Italian companies from this region the potential for investment in the Republika Srpska, as well as examples of good practice, investments by Italian businessmen in the Republika Srpska, such as the investment of the company PMP industris.
The announcement states that the Italian company “PMP Industri”, in addition to the successful privatization of the company “PMP Jelšingrad” Gradiška, is also planning a new investment in the area of Laktaši, and that the forum will be an opportunity to sign an agreement on cooperation on the realization of this investment.
Višković and members of the delegation of Republika Srpska will also talk with the rector of the University of Trieste, Roberto di Lenardo, and the deans of the engineering faculties in Trieste and Udine. The delegation will also visit the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the secondary school in Udine, as well as the production facilities of the “PMP Industri” factory.
The delegation of Republika Srpska, led by Prime Minister Višković, includes Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in East Sarajevo Milija Kraišnik, Professor Stevo Borojević in front of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Banja Luka, President of the Union of Employers Saša Trivić, President of the Chamber of Commerce Pero Ćorić, and mayors Gradiške Zoran Adžić and Laktasi Miroslav Bojić.
