Police found 224 Illegal Migrants in BiH’s Capital

Police Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton (MUPKS) and the Department for Foreigners Affairs have continued to implement the measures and actions in line with the Operational Plan.

During the action, 224 migrants were found in two locations in the Hadzici municipality and transported to the Field Office for Foreigners Affairs in Usivak Immigration Center for taking further measures and actions.

One day earlier, on July 16, in the Valtera Perica Street, Center municipality, eight migrants were found, who were also accommodated in the Usivak Reception Center.

The joint implementation of measures and actions aims at preventing and sanctioning all forms of illegal behavior of migrants, but also their accommodation as well as other activities related to migrants, and will continue in the upcoming period as well.
