Police issued 164 Fines for Parking in places designated for people with disabilities

From the beginning to the end of April of this year, police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton issued 164 misdemeanor warrants to drivers who illegally parked their vehicles in places designated for people with disabilities, and six vehicles were moved with a special vehicle.

42 or 20.39 percent of misdemeanor orders were issued, less than in the previous month of the current year.

A fine of 200 BAM is provided for parking in places designated for persons with disabilities.

At the same time, the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds users of the Accessibility Sign that they are obliged to report the loss of the sign to the local competent police department within three days, as well as to check the expiration date of the Accessibility Sign they are using.

The Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton continues to actively enforce increased supervision and control of parking in parking spaces designated for persons with disabilities.
