Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) last night conducted searches in the wider area of Republika Srpska and arrested a large number of persons suspected of being connected to the murder of police officer Radenko Basic in Prijedor.
The Ministry of the Interior is asking citizens to immediately call 122 or contact the nearest police officer or police station if they have noticed a person from the drawing or seen him somewhere in the previous period.
The Ministry of the Interior announced that all activities are being carried out under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s offices, with the aim of finding the perpetrator of the crime of aggravated murder, and that the investigation is continuing.
The head of the Criminal Police Sector of the Prijedor Police Administration, Radenko Basic, was killed on Monday, with a firearm in the Prijedor settlement of Pecani.
