Police officers of the Federal Police Administration, acting on the order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, and under the supervision of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, searched the premises of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo on Friday.

“On that occasion, members of the Federal Police Administration found 24 rifles and 25 scopes used for sports shooting. The documentation related to the acquisition of these weapons, as well as other documentation and evidence, was also seized,” it was found out.

Friday‘s searches were carried out by order of the CSProsecutor’s Office in the continuation of the investigation against the former chief Hadzibajric. Contracts concluded by the municipality and other documents are also being investigated.

To recall, Ibrahim Hadzibajric and Alma Destanovic were arrested at the beginning of May as part of the operational action codenamed “Start”, which was carried out by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate of the CSunder the supervision of the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the Prosecutor’s Office of CS. This is the result of several months of intensive cooperation with international police partners, primarily EUROPOL, but also the FBI, Klix.ba reports.
