The Kosovo Police confirmed that late last night in Kačanik, a small town in the southeastern part of Kosovo on the border with North Macedonia, a local police sergeant was killed.
The murder of police sergeant Muhamet Ljika is suspected to have happened around 11:00 p.m., when he was entering his apartment.
For now, there is no information about the perpetrator or the motives of the murder.
