Early this morning, police teams began simultaneous searches at 16 locations in the Kakanj area and 3 locations in the Zavidovići area.
It is a continuation of the extensive police action codenamed “META 2”, which is carried out by the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and which is aimed at the deprivation of liberty and the prosecution of persons suspected of committing criminal acts: “Unauthorized production and placing on the market narcotic drugs” from Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, “Aggravated theft” from Article 287 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and “Illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances” from Article 371 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Activities within the action “META 2” are undertaken in cooperation with and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and are acted upon by the orders of the municipal courts in Zenica, Kakanj and Zavidovići.
