The Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CIKBH) today imposed an administrative measure of denial of the right to run in the next elections for 18 political parties.

This administrative measure was imposed due to violation of the provisions of Article 10, paragraph (8) of the Law on Financing of Political Parties, i.e. due to failure to submit the annual financial report for 2022.

The administrative measure of denying the right to run for office in the next elections was imposed on the following political parties: Serbian Movement for the Renewal of the Republika Srpska, Liberal Democratic Party of BiH, Croatian Party of Rights of BiH, BH Free Democrats, Natural People’s Movement of BiH, Lista za Bugojno, Democratic Family Party, Udar Ljevice, Alliance for Stari Grad, New Party, Indigenous Croatian Party of Rights of BiH, Croatian Peasant Party of BiH, Alliance of Communists of Yugoslavia, Independent List – Positive Poultry Story, Democratic Center of Republika Srpska, Croatian Homeland Movement of BiH, Democratic Defenders Party of BiH and Alliance of Democratic Forces – Alliance .

At today’s session, the Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina also passed a Decision on suspending the proceedings against six political parties that voluntarily removed deficiencies during the proceedings and submitted a financial report for the year 2022, namely: Civic Alliance, Narodni pokret, Vaš pokret, The Serbian Progressive Party of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Independent List – Hrvatska zvona and the New European Alliance, announced from the Information Office of the CEC of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
