The second feature movie made by Sarajevo young director Kenan Musić, “Politics and other crimes”, speaks about the conflict of American journalist and B&H politicians which was evoked trough the story of the JMBG protests.
The scenario for the movie, which was made in August last year, was signed by the director. The producers of the movie are Semir Bujak, Edin Ličina and Benjamin Čengić. The music composer is young Osman Abdelmukaran, who has already cooperated in the last movie with Musić. Mario Ilić is the cameraperson and the montage was done by prof. Srđan Rodić. Eldin Bihorac-Bato was in charge of production and post production. The executive producer is Nejra Musić.
The movie was recorded in September, and the montage and post production of the movie lasted for almost 6 months. Even though the whole movie project was confronted with financial problems, the deadline was moved by only 15 days.
The premiere of the movie will be held in Meeting Point on 2 April 2014, after which the movie’s festival life will begin. In the beginning, the movie “Politics and other crimes” was in the official selection of the festival in Denmark and New York. At this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, the movie will be presented in the framework of B&H Movie. Moreover, these days there are negotiations about a screening of the movie in the festival in Doha, Qatar.
The main roles are assigned to Adna Novo, Dragan Marinković Maca and Muhamed Bahonjić.
