Constantin Popovici from Romania and Australian Rhiannan Iffland are the winners of the jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar in the final competition of Red Bull Cliff Diving, which was held in Mostar for the seventh season.

This duo made a name for themselves with spectacular jumps in Mostar and won championship titles in that city.

Popovici won the championship title in Mostar among a competition of 12 jumpers with spectacular jumps into the Neretva from a 27-meter-high platform on the Old Bridge.

The second place was taken by his compatriot Catalin Preda, while the title of the third best jumper of Red Bull Cliff Diving was won by Aidan Heslop from Great Britain.

In the women’s competition, the defending champion, Australian Rhiannan Iffland, excelled with jumps from the 21-meter-high platform on Stari Most, while Canadian Molly Carlson won second place, and her compatriot Jessica Macualy took third place.

The competition in the city on the Neretva began on Thursday with the first series of jumps from the stone arch from the Old Bridge and continued yesterday with the second series from platforms that were set for men at 27 meters and for women at 21 meters.

Today’s final competition was held in two series of jumps and it was uncertain from the very beginning to the end.

Each jump left the audience breathless and the blood running cold in their veins, and the table with the positions of the best constantly changed until it produced the winners of the competition in Mostar.

This event in Mostar was watched live from the plateau below the Old Bridge by thousands of people who enjoyed the extraordinary spectacle, Klix.ba writes.
