Population Census in Tuzla, Bihać, Zenica and Mostar

The Census Commission of Tuzla has a huge task because it is the center of the Canton and has a large number population that has to be included in the Census.

According to Zijo Lugavić, President of the Census Commission of Municipality Tuzla, this morning at 9:00 729 enumerators left for the field, who will list 903 census rounds. With them are 90 instructors, and 4 entity instructors. The Census Commission of Municipality Tuzla was visited this morning by international observers who are satisfied with the beginning of the Census. The first results from the field in municipality Tuzla are expected tonight.

In Bihać this morning 281 enumerators left for the field, who will list 330 census rounds. The Una-Sana Canton is well prepared for the Census. The only problem they encountered this morning is the departure of 5 enumerators, but this problem was solved with the reserve enumerators, said Kata Repac, President of the Census Commission of Municipality Bihać.

Municipality Zenica carried out the preparations, organization and implementation of the B&H Census 2013 according to the methodology. Materials for 519 enumerators have been distributed, who will make 737 census rounds.

The work of the enumerators is supervised by 71 instructors and 3 entity instructors, and according to information from the field, everything is going according to the plan, said President of the Census Commission of Municipality Zenica Selver Keleštura to Sarajevo Times.

The Census began this morning in Mostar at 9:00. According to Marija Soldo, President of the Census Commission, there are 544 enumerators and 77 instructors, and the city of Mostar has a total of 675 census rounds. The Census is being carried out according to plan and without any major problems.
