In the period from the 1st January to 31st of July 31 this year, B&H achieved exports worth 5 billion and 191 million BAM, which is 4.1 % more than in the same period in 2014, while imports amounted to 9 billion and 123 million BAM, which is higher by 0.7 % than the last year.
Export-import coverage was 56.9 %, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 3 billion and 932 million BAM, according to the Agency for Statistics of B&H.
Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 789 million BAM, which is 7.5 % more than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 92 million BAM, which is 10 % more than in the same period in 2014. Export-import coverage was 72.2 %.
Exports to EU countries amounted to 3 billion and 764 million BAM, which represents the increase by 2.6 % compared to the same period last year, while imports amounted to 5 billion and 522 million BAM, which is 0.8 % more than in the same period in 2014. Export-import coverage was 68.1 %.
