A positive Growth Rate of GDP recorded in BiH

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Republika Srpska (RS), expressed in current prices in the third quarter of last year amounted to 2.612 billion BAM and had a positive growth rate of 2.6 percent compared to the same period of 2016, according to data of the Republican Institute for Statistics of RS.

In the observed period, the gross value added was 2.14 billion BAM, while the value of the tax on products reduced for subventions was more than 470.000 BAM.

The gross value added in the third quarter of last year was higher by 7.7 percent in trade, hotel management and hospitality, and motor vehicle repairs, while in financial and insurance activities it increased by 4.9 percent, compared to the same period of 2016.

In the observed period, gross value added was less than 5.3 percent in agriculture, forestry and fishing.
