The Association of Women of Majlis of the Islamic Community Livno is marking five years of its continuous and active work. The crown of these activities was a solemn academy held in the Curcinica Mosque, where the participants of programs of this association received diplomas, while the associates from Livno and representatives of several associations received acknowledgements.

However, more important and more beautiful image of our country was sent from this gathering.

Nun Blanka Jelicic attended this event and addressed the attendees and noted the importance of woman as the one that upbrings the entire society.

Nun Blanka and women from the Islamic Community in BiH attracted a lot of attention of BH public by organizing small but important activities whose aim is to help people in the western part of BiH. Not only that they helped many people, but they started creating a whole network of peace, cooperation, and tolerance.

Nun Blanka also noted the fact that we are all capable of doing good, but the important thing is whether we are ready to do it. She stated that cooperation between women from the Islamic Community and her, as a spiritual mother, will be continued in the future period as well.

“I am very happy to have the opportunity to act on the inter-religious plan through my activities as the project coordinator of the Association of Women of the Majlis of IC Livno. And when the souls meet, like mine and Blanka’s, then that kind of cooperation is easy and simple and it always results in good. Sister Blanka did not hesitate to be our guest in the mosque and address a large number of Muslim women even for a moment, and that says a lot about her,” said Sejla Mujic Kevric.

They said that they are happy for all opportunities and conditions that God gave them, and especially for the opportunity to give their quality work to their community.

Sister Blanka also received an acknowledgement for cooperation on numerous humanitarian projects.
