Tadic i amb KineThe Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples of the BIH Parliamentary Assembly Ognjen Tadić received yesterday in Sarajevo the newly-appointed Ambassador of China to BiH Dong Chungfeng.

The Chinese Ambassador said that in the first few days of being in BiH he noticed an eagerness for a more intensive economic cooperation between BiH and China.

“There exists huge potential and many things that we could do for better ties, and I think that we still have not found the right modality for bilateral cooperation’’, said Dong Chungfeng.

Tadić and Chungfeng emphasized the construction of the thermal plant Stanari as an important example of economic cooperation, which should represent a true pilot project for Chinese investment in the RS in the future.

Tadić said he expects for Chinese business people to quickly solve all administrative requirements for entry to the market, and both sides expressed hope that in the next meeting of the two officials there will be a successful company that is the joint result of investment in Banja Luka or another city in the RS or in BiH.

The Ambassador of China today repeated that his country fully supports the Dayton agreement, and that he is pleased that there is much understanding between the two friendly countries in international relations.
