Possible Introduction of Line Sarajevo-Moscow

avion2A meeting of the co-chairs of the Joint Commission for Trade-Economic Cooperation of BIH and Russia, in which the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović and the Director of the Federal Agency for Standardization and Metrology of the Russian Federation Grigorij Eljkin participated. It was held yesterday in Moscow.

According to the site of the Ministry, Šarović and Eljkin spoke on the review of the overall economic relations of BiH and Russia and discussed the possibility to further improve the economic and trade relations through the understanding of the state and to identify the areas in which there is mutual interest to continue to improve cooperation.

They also discussed the open issues that hinder mutual economic cooperation, the possibility to establish direct lines between Sarajevo and Moscow, which would contribute to the development of tourism.

Participants recognized the importance of establishing an institutional framework to facilitate business companies and employees from Russia and BiH on the territory of other countries through the conclusion of agreements in the areas of taxation, employment, protection of investments and the like.
