ars-aevi1The Director of the Project Ars Aevi Enver Hadžiomerspahić hosted a meeting yesterday with journalists and friends of Ars Aevi.

He referred to the long struggle over the creation of the museum, which has been ongoing for 20 years.

The Project of the Ars Aevi Museum is known to the public as a museum that does not have a building but does have a very valuable collection of contemporary art that was donated to Ars Aevi and Sarajevo.

All these years Ars Aevi had support, above all from Italy, as well as other countries in the world. When it comes to B&H, support would have its ascending and descending path, but unfortunately ended with just kind words.

Hadžiomerspahić referred that Ars Aevi collection and project Ars Aevi had its world premiere this year in Venice, and said that next year the exhibition would tour to the Maxxi museum in Rome and the Luigi Pecci museum in Prato.

The Director of the Ars Aevi project expressed hope that next year there would be a ceremony for the beginning of the construction of the museum that would be held as part of the program for the marking of the 100 years since the beginning of the First World War.

According to forecasts, the next few years (2014-2016) could be key for the final realization of the project Ars Aevi.
