Presentation of Best Youth Project Ideas from Program “Active Youth 2013”

mladi_studenti_100512On the occasion of the meeting of the leaders of the best students of the project in BiH, today a conference will be held for the media where the best high school project ideas for the third year of the program “Active Youth” will be presented.

The aim of the program is to strengthen leadership and entrepreneurial skills of high school students.

The speakers at the conference include representative of UNICEF to BiH Florence Bauer, and the program “Active youth” will be presented by Jan Z. Kulenović, Director of the Youth Information Agency (OIA), announced the Agency.

In 2013, OIA and UNICEF opened a call for a new cycle of the program “Active Youth”, where 82 projects from 39 cities throughout the country were presented.

After the selection of 40 projects, the representatives will participate and for the first time will meet at tomorrow’s presentation in the UN building.

In the last two years, “Active Youth” achieved good results, and nearly 1.000 high school students were included-leaders of projects where they developed their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
