The Presidency of BiH accepted to attend the Meeting at a High Level on the Movement of Migrants

PresidencyThe Presidency of BiH accepted the invitation to attend the Meeting at a high level on the movement of migrants, which will be held in New York, on the 19th of September 2016.

The Presidency of BiH was introduced with the Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH on holding the Brussels Conference on Afghanistan, from the 4th to 5th of October 2016. The Council of Ministers of BiH was tasked to plan donation of financial funds to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the symbolic amount, which will be implemented through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH from the budget of BH institutions and international obligations of BiH institutions for 2017.

The Presidency of BiH made the Decision on accepting the Agreement between BiH and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and official passports.

The Presidency of BiH made the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Memorandum between the National Tourism Administration of the People’s Republic of China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe on the establishment of the Alliance for the promotion of tourism between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Presidency of BiH made decisions on accepting the agreements and choosing signatories for:

– Loan Agreement (Project of modernization of road sector in the FBiH) between BiH and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development,

– Loan Agreement and project between KfW, Frankfurt am Main (KfW), and BiH, represented by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury (the borrower), and the RS, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and Elektroprivreda of the RS (ERS) ( the agency for the execution of the project) in the amount of 60,000,000.00 EUR – Windfarm Hrgud,

– Memorandum of Understanding for the Saudi grant for the reconstruction of a number of houses of returnees to Srebrenica and the Project of economic support from Saudi Arabia and BiH,

– Memorandum of Understanding for the construction and equipping of the Research Institute “King Salman bin Abdulaziz” at the University – the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and BiH.

The Presidency of BiH made a decision on extending the mandate of the pedestrian units of the Armed Forces of BiH in peace-support operation of the Decisive support in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in international military operation under the leadership of NATO for one year.

The Presidency of BiH made the Decision on starting procedures for conducting negotiations for conclusion of the Agreement between BiH and the Kingdom of Spain on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.

The Presidency of BiH will send a Letter of Intent to the Holy See regarding the donation of the Christmas tree in St. Peter’s Square on behalf of all the peoples of BiH.
