The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, at the suggestion of BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović, dismissed the honorary consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Panama, Fatih Kol, who is suspected of being part of the “Tito and Dino” cartel.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously voted for the dismissal of Kol, the media reports.

Kol is one of those whose name appears in the action “Black Tie”. The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina suspects Kol of being part of an organized criminal group, which was led at the international level by Edin Gačanin, and at the BiH level by Adnan Smajlović.

Kol was not in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the time of this action, so he could not be arrested, but his name is included in the proposal for detention or prohibition measures against members or collaborators.

He is known to the public as a former football player, coach, football club owner and businessman, but also for numerous investments in Panama in sectors such as the auto industry and marble production.

Last December, he presented his credentials to the President of the Office of Ambassadorial and Consular Affairs of the Presidency of Panama, Diomedes Carles, after the Presidency approved the appointment.
