Presidency member of B&H Bakir Izetbegovič received yesterday in Sarajevo the director of USAID for B&H David Barth, announced B&H Presidency.
A special attention during the meeting was dedicated to projects of involving diaspora in economic processes in B&H.
The complementarity of Turkish loans for returnee population and various USAID projects of economic empowerment of our country was highlighted. It was estimated that diaspora represents a potential that our country needs to engage.
It was concluded, that the cooperation between B&H with this group of population should be strengthened.
Izetbegović expressed his support for every type of engagement aiming at improving the process of returnees coming back to their pre-war places. He stressed that he will insist that B&H institutions will give their contribution on that direction.
He thanked for the assistance offered by USAID in various ways to citizens of B&H.
