The members of the BiH Presidency conveyed greetings on behalf of BiH and expressed their gratitude for the continuous support that the Holy See provides to our country, with the hope that this support will continue in the future.

They expressed gratitude to Pope Leo XIV and the Holy See for the support they have provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina so far, for his messages of peace, solidarity and hope that have a special resonance in society. The members of the BiH Presidency expressed the readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina to contribute to the strengthening of multilateralism and the preservation of universal values.

The BiH Presidency invited Pope Leo XIV to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Members of the BiH Presidency presented the Pope with a unique silver bas-relief of a rosette, which is located on the facade of the Cathedral of the Heart of Jesus in Sarajevo. After the meeting with Pope Leo XIV, the members of the BiH Presidency talked with the secretary for relations with other countries and international organizations of the State Secretariat of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher.
