President of the Federation of BiH lied to the German Public TV Service about the War Crime in Trusina

The German public TV service ARD publicly denied the allegations made by the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara, into their camera during a report on the crime in Ahmići.

The German public service ARD published on Twitter a report from Ahmići and Trusina on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the horrific crimes that took place in these two villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1993.

Answering the questions of ARD journalists, Bradara said that no one was held accountable for the crimes against the Croats of the village of Trusina near Konjic, which were committed by members of the BiH Army, which is not true, and this TV service also decided to publish it.

“On the same day that the massacre in Ahmići took place, the massacre in Trusina also took place. Unfortunately, no one was charged,” Bradara told ARD.

An announcement was made today on Twitter ARD.

“After it was brought to our attention from several sources, the truth is that we should have said that eight members of the RBiH Army were convicted for the massacre in Trusina. Therefore, Bradara’s statement is incorrect,” according to ARD.

For the crimes in Trusina, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Edin Džeko to 13 years in prison and Rasema Handanović to five and a half years in prison. Nihad Bojadžić was sentenced to 15 years, and Nedžad Hodžić and Mensur Memic were sentenced to 12 and 10 years respectively.

ARD reminds that Lidija Bradara appeared several years ago with the top of the HDZ at the reception of the criminal Dario Kordić, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the Hague Tribunal precisely because of his responsibility for the massacre in Ahmići, Klix.ba reports.
