In the Commemorative Center in Tuzla, two victims of the past war were identified today. These are victims of Bosniak nationality who were killed in 1993 in the area of Zvornik and Vlasenica.

Both victims were first identified through the DNA method, so that the identity of these victims would be confirmed today by their family members.

Today, the family identified the remains of Senad (Abdurahman) Sulejmanović, born in 1964 in Novi Selo near Zvornik.

He disappeared in March 1993 in the locality of Baljkovice in Zvornik, and his remains were exhumed in 2008 on the surface of the field in Križevačke njive, Zvornik.

Today, the remains of Kemal (Hemed) Beširović, born in 1962 in Turalići, Vlasenica, were also identified.

He disappeared in April 1993 in that area, and his remains were exhumed at the Turalić site in 1997, the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
