clinton-trumpProfessor at the Faculty of Economics of Sarajevo Fikret Hadzic stated that if Hillary Clinton wins, the US will continue the current political course, which is a favorable option for BiH.

Regardless of the outcome of the presidential election in the United States, BiH will not have a direct economic damage nor use, because it is an insignificant trading partner said Fikret Hadzic, a professor at the Faculty of Economics of Sarajevo.

According to him, in case of victory of Hillary Clinton, the US will continue the current political course, which is more favorable option for BiH.

Hadzic said that he is not sure whether the Republican candidate Donald Trump knows where BiH or where the Balkans is located, and that he showed contradiction and unpredictability in his performances.

He added that, while Hillary Clinton was visiting BH and learning about the situation here, Trump spent his time at fashion shows and beauty contests, which is why from his victory cannot be expected any benefit for BiH, but it could be even harmful.

Hadzic said he is not sure that economic protectionism that Trump showed would be beneficial for the United States, let alone for the rest of the world, and that his victory could lead the global economy in great uncertainty.

“I’m not sure that other countries would benevolently observe this process, but we hope that common sense will prevail and that the American people will choose the option that would be better for them, but also for the rest of the world,” said Hadzic.
