prevent1Company Prevent BiH plans to launch a new project to manufacture upholstery for the handbrake lever of Adam Opel models by the end of this year.

Representatives of Open and Cimos visited Prevent facilities in Srebrenica and Visoko this week in order to become familiar with the business activities of this company and to agree on increasing cooperation.

During the visit to Visoko the guests visited Prevent Leather where they were convinced of high standards of this company.

“Prevent is a strategic supplier of upholstery for renowned European manufacturers. Every new project that Prevent receives directly is a recognition for our employees’’, said the President of Prevent Almir Jazvin. He added that they are extremely proud of the expansion of cooperation with Opel and the continued diversification of the market and buyers.

Prevent in Srebrenica currently produces components for handbrakes and employees around 20 people.

The diversification of the market and new projects such as Opel will contribute to new jobs and increase production capacity of this area. The expansion of Prevent in Srebrenica will depend on the business opportunities and the potential of the region to respond to the demands of the automobile industry.

Prevent Group in BiH operates in seven locations and employs around 5.000 people. This company produces upholstery, leather and brake discs for renowned international car manufacturers and is present in the field of non-automotive sectors in shipbuilding and protective equipment.
